Who We Are
At Appleseed Learning Center, we focus on the individual child’s social, emotional and cognitive skills. We encourage children to learn through play and exploration. Not all preschools in Leechburg will do that. For us to do so we provide the children an environment full of ways for each child to engage socially, emotionally and mentally. We recognize that children grow at their own pace, which is why we are always there to engage with a child when they are curious about something new!
Our preschool center also believes in family. We pride ourselves in our parent-teacher communication. We understand that the role of the teacher is not as a substitute parent, but as a caregiver and a teacher. This should be true in all preschool.
Staff Is Important in Preschools
At Appleseed Learning Center, we hire only passionate individuals who can be positive role models for the children. Our staff is excited about what they do and truly enjoys helping children discover themselves.
We accept children regardless of creed, sex, race, or national origin.
